looking north on the top of
the hill just entering the property.
looking south on the top of
the hill just entering the property.
the road on top of the hill
looking east after just entering the property.
dense brush covers most of
the property as can be seen from the top of the hill on the access road.
the top of the hill rolls for
some ways,
crawling along our most prized lots.
natural circle drive on the
access road on top of the hill.
as the access road dips down
into the property's lower areas, the history of a site untouched for years
sets in, the foundation to a rock structure lays in decay on the side of the
hill.
part of what seems to be a
flower bed just out side the rock foundation.
looking west at the bottom of
the hill at the end of the access road.
looking north on the bottom
after exiting the access road.
turning back to the south
viewing the cascading hill where
the access road has left us.
a rudimentary bridge made
some years ago, no slumping in decay from years of water passing by.
a small shack on the the
second hill on the rivers edge, in total disarray the shack seems as if it
could fall at any moment,
yet it stands year after year.
the view if we could see
through these trees will be exquisite.
again the view from this hill
top could be fantastic.
thick under brush covers this
very developable land.
the bottom land feels large
and winding but it is in reality a small part of a large property.
magnificent trees abound the
entire property and will be made use of with the layout of every lot.
the bluff while hidden now
will one day show it's self in all it's natural beauty.
the river's edge winds around
the north side of the property along it's entirety.
flood plain issues are
addressed by way of
using the plain as parks and practice greens.
this bottom land is thriving
with life and excitement with caves and streams and of course the river.
a small park already exists
at the end of the lower property entry.
just behind the park is the
cave that stretches
over 1 mile back in the hillside
along the bluffs there are 3
entrances to the cave.
once cleared this land will
hold it's natural beauty for all of the developments visitors to appreciate.
the lower entrance to the
property is a narrow road
flanked by the bluff and the river
the James River Valley
one of the entrances to the
cave
atop the hill at the entry to
the top side of the property.
a view from down the highway
at the property on your left side of the road.
a view from directly across
the valley at the hill top development.
